ABOUT ME
I’m Devin Hauser, an iQFOiL and Wingfoil racer from Switzerland. I first stepped onto a windsurf board at the age of seven. Since then, I have wanted to spend as much time on the water as possible. Whether it is iQFOiL, Wingfoil, windsurfing, pump foiling, kitesurfing or parawinging, I enjoy everything that flies, glides and helps me become faster.
I started in national youth regattas before progressing to international competitions, European Championships and World Championships. After two years in U17 and two years in U19, I now compete internationally in the U23 and senior fleets.
Away from racing, I am interested in photography, filmmaking, video editing, shoots, web design and artificial intelligence. I am building my personal brand step by step and want to show the work behind international high-performance sport.
My long-term goal is to represent Switzerland at the Olympic Games. I train hard every day, give my best and believe that I can achieve this goal.

DISCIPLINES
iQFOiL Racing
iQFOiL is the Olympic windsurfing class. The equipment made its Olympic debut at Paris 2024, replacing the RS:X as the Olympic windsurfing equipment.
I now compete internationally in the U23 and senior fleets.
iQFOiL is a one-design class with standardised equipment. This puts a strong focus on setup, tuning, speed and the performance of the athlete. Starts, manoeuvres, tactics, strategy, fitness and mental strength can all decide a race.
Wingfoil Racing
I started wingfoiling early and was already racing during the first years of international Wingfoil competition. The equipment and feeling are different from iQFOiL, but the basic racing principle is similar: complete a set course as quickly and tactically as possible.
Wingfoil Racing is also a valuable addition to my iQFOiL training. Starts, speed, manoeuvres, tactics and decision-making under pressure are important in both disciplines. Whenever my training and racing schedule allows, I enjoy competing in selected Wingfoil Racing events.
What is iQFOiL?
iQFOiL is the Olympic windsurfing class. Athletes race with a board, a sail and a hydrofoil. The foil works underwater in a similar way to an aircraft wing: once enough speed is generated, it lifts the board above the water.
Road to the
OLYMPIC GAMES
My biggest sporting goal is to represent Switzerland at the Olympic Games.
The journey requires strong international results, continuous development, national selection and one of the limited Olympic quota places. Every training block and every regatta is another step along that road.

Sport comes first: I race in iQFOiL, the Olympic windsurfing class, and also compete in Wingfoil Racing.
Many of my photos and videos come directly from life as an athlete – during training, regatta weeks and the journeys in between. I produce and edit part of this content myself. I also use selected work from photographers and organisations, with the relevant credit shown alongside each image.
Beyond sport, photography, filmmaking, video editing, shoots, web design and modern AI tools are some of my biggest interests. This allows me to offer partners more than visibility: authentic photos, videos and stories from an international sporting environment.
